Zones fast and exact from a given text file
Zonematic is a handy add-on that creates zone elements according the given text file. This makes planning and drafting spaces easier than ever. Zonematic is for huge help when the space usage is known from the very beginning.
Zonematic speeds up drafting a new model. In design competitions Zonematic gives you opportunity to fast sketch working solutions - layouting the spaces could not be any easier.Very simple but still so wonderful.
The zones are created according any given text file. The meaning of every row in the table is defined in settings before import. At the same time the parameter values are given to the zones.
Connection between zones
In Zonematic it is possible to create connections between selected zones. Connections are represented by lines that can show for example frequent access between spaces. These lines are for huge help when planning space utilization.
The links are automatically updated if any zone is moved or edited. Deleting a zone removes the connection and connection lines unless automatic deleting is prevented from settings dialog.
Zonematic is an excellent tool for planning, for drafting spaces and to begin drafting in architectural competitions.

Version 13 updated 24th May 2010. Fixed:
- Settings saved to user specific folder. Previously they were saved into add-on's folder and that caused problems in Win Vista and 7.
Please note that Windows-version runs only on 32-bit ArchiCAD.
